Search the National Library of Men's Choral Music
Usage Notes:
You can enter search terms into the top two fields (title and artist) to
find pieces of music. In the title field you can enter as many words
in the title as you know to find pieces of music. If you have no results
try being less specific. It tries to do an exact match to the title. If
you want to search by keywords you can separate those keywords by commas.
For example, entering What shall will bring up results for What
Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor?", but entering what, shall
will bring up results for any work with the words what or shall
in the title.
Choosing from any of the droplists will limit the keyword search.
Alternately you can simply choose something from the droplist
(i.e. if you are looking for Christmas music choose "Christmas" from
the list of Genres) with no keywords to see all of the results.
Search results will contain links which, when clicked on, will run
another search on that term. For instance, if you click on the name
of a collection in the search results you will be shown all of our
holdings from that collection.
If you cannot find what you are looking for in the database you may
use our online request form, and we will look it up for you and tell
you if we have it. The online request form is located at
http://www.camerata.com/library.html.
If you click on the title of a work in the search results it will give you
a page which you can bookmark with only that result.
Note: Entry of music into the database is underway
slowly. Due to a lack of time and funding only a small fraction (approximately 700
pieces of music) of the collection has been entered into the database for searching.
This space will be updated with the current status of the database as more information
is entered.
