Our Mission
The Washington Men's Camerata honors the tradition of men's choral music by providing beautiful performances, promoting the choral art and preserving the repertoire.

Our 25th Anniversary Season!
Thanks to all who attended the final concert of our '07-'08 Season at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theatre on June 14th.  Landlubbers and sailors alike had a great time as the Camerata sang "Songs of the Sea" for a near-capacity crowd.

Plans are already well underway for our 25th Anniversary '08-'09 season, which begins with a gala event on Sunday, October 26th.  The party will be a celebration of the Camerata's 25th birthday, Frank's 50th, and his 10th anniversary as music director of the group.  The Food Network's own Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman, is designing a special creation to commemorate the occasion!  Watch this space for more details.

Our concert season will kick off with our annual performances of "Christmas with the Camerata," 12/7 at Fairlington United Methodist Church, 12/8 at Church of the Epiphany and 12/14 at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church.  Our mid-season concert on 3/22 will be "Sacred and Profane," featuring the rarely-heard Szekszárd Mass by Franz Liszt, along with secular music from middle-European composers like Kodaly, Janacek and Dvorak.  Our Kennedy Center concert on 6/6 will be "Thanks for the Memories," taking a nostalgic look back at the first 25 years of the Camerata's distinguished history.  Watch this space and your mailbox
later this summer for more information on how to become a season subscriber!
